PornoStar Records- Sexy Miami Disco Stars Compilation Album

Every label is releasing their Winter Music Conference compilations around this time, and the PornoStar Records compilation is quite a treat. It is filled with upbeat disco/house tracks. Two of my favorites are Bounce by Supertons and It’s Alright by P&ME (Paperboy and Mike Even Club Mix). The whole album is available on Beatport for 11.99, much cheaper than buying each single. Fabian Argomedo out of Chile is a rising star on the tech/house/deep scene and Jesus Soblechero from Spain gives this track a nice funky bouncy remix. Big fan of both. NIce Work.

Kitar- Tengara

Bouncy new deep/tech/funky track from Kitar out of Spain. Got that fun feel that is deep but still a bouncy, funky, and danceable. He throws in an excellent sample of Cypress Hill’s song Boom Biddy Bye Bye.

Todd Terry and Greg Nice- Bac 2 Da Old School

Fun new track from Todd “The God” Terry out of N ew York City. As the name would suggest, has an old school funky sound that is bouncy and cool.  One of the legends of the movement is taking us back to the roots on this one. Lovin It!

 

John Acquaviva and DJ Tonio- Da Daddy

 

This new track from John Acquaviva and DJ Tonio feels part techno and part funky/disco.  Very cool track, thoroughly enjoyable to listen to and at the same time can be used by DJ’s of almost every type of venue.  Love the hard beat, electro sounds thrown in during slowdown in the middle, which is followed by an awesome rise, and of course the whole underlying melody. BAM! Sweet Track, will be using this one a lot.

Joey Negro- Must Be The Music (Crazibiza Remix)

I love the sound coming out of Hungary right now from Crazibiza. This remix of Joey Negro’s “Must Be The Music” hits that spot of bouncy danceable tech house that can work in so many different venues.  Excellent funky, happy beat combined with a good vocal section in the middle make this song an instant winner that will have all tapping their feet and moving their bodies. These guys are starting to make a big name for themselves and I’m looking forward to seeing where they go from here.

B. Jinx- They Got To Have It (Coach Roebuck Remix)

This is the newest release from my good friend B. Jinx over here in South Korea,  and the version above is remixed by Coach Roebuck from New York.   Its a jumpy disco-ish track that will have people grooving on the dancefloor.  There is also the original mix, and remixes from DJ Red out of Atlanta and Disco Ballz (DBZ).
