Pick Of The Week: Aleeg- Feng Shoe
Soulman Music out of Uruguay has been one of my favorite labels for tech and house that hits the sweet spot of a little deep, a little funky, and a little techy. This latest cut is from Aleeg out of Mexico. Perfect down-tempo funky groover. This will definitely go down at some pool parties during these hot summer months!

Pick Of The Week: Supertons- F That Shit
The pick for this week comes from Supertons out of Serbia. They have finally released a track they put on Soundcloud over a year ago. “F That Shit,” out on Teddy Bear Records, is an energetic disco/house number that will have the crowd moving guaranteed.
Though I prefer the original mix, there are also excellent remixes as well from Kevin Prise, Grada, and Billy Sizemore.

Disco Ball’z- Don’t Stop
Sorry guys, been off the blog a while, but I’m back with a fresh goodie from Disco Ball’z out of Hungary. This appears on the label LadyMarySound’s Winter Music Conference sampler. Uplifting happy house track here that should have dancefloors grooving out from this rising star of the disco house scene.

Jesus Soblechero- Seven Dollars
You know when the club is just starting to pick up, which in Korea is the 11-12 hour, and you want to play that track that gets people who are sitting down to start tapping there feet and moving there shoulders and get into the rhythm for a night of music, then drop this cut from Jesus Soblechero from Spain. Funky tech house track that would be excellent for any opening set, its got cool vocals and a nice fat and groovy bassline. Big up s to this track!
Rubberteeth- Break Out EP

Eric Sneo Feat. Chris The Voice- Shut Up and Dance (Pleasurekraft Remix)
Umek’s label 1605 usually gives a banging techno sound, but this Pleasurekraft remix is a very groovy house cut. Love the vocals and the build. Hits a sweet spot between progressive, funky, and disco that works so well.

Electric Soulside- Caliente (Sonny Fodera Remix)
Groovy house tune here from Electric Soulside and remixed by Australian Sonny Fodera. Fodera has been one of my favorite producers of late, making funky, jackin tunes with a good feel and lots of swing. This gem is no different, featuring fast beats infused with a latin sound. Exclusive Mix- Coach Roebuck
Coach Roebuck from New Jersey has provided the first exclusive mix for Ilhouze.com. He is an established producer and DJ with over 70 tracks, remixes, and remixed tracks out on Beatport. He features a hard disco style that gets the crowd moving, but can also bring it back down with some soulful and old school sounds. His bio is as follows:
“It has been said that “Disco is back, and being done properly…” The fact is that Disco never died, it just went underground. Now there is a revival. Coach Roebuck takes credit for helping bringing Disco back into the light, in the form of house music.
Originally from the hills of West Virginia, the Coach was exposed to a wide variety of Disco, Funk, Pop, Rock and Mo-Town. His horizons began to broadened during college, in the form of attending warehouse parties, but only as a participant. A window of opportunity inspired Coach Roebuck to turn from building music software to producing music seriously in June 2004. As a means to help expose his music, the Coach became a DJ. Soon the Coach started to travel throughout the East Coast shamelessly promoting himself with inspiration. As word got out regionally, he started working parties both domestically and abroad, playing in warehouse parties, nightclubs, and music festivals, from Miami to Chicago, while building a small but very loyal following locally. Music lovers have been unable to resist boogying down to the Coach’s unique style of filtered disco house music.
Coach Roebuck’s resume consists of rocking parties in some of the most unlikely places, ranging from West Virginia, Arkansas, and Kansas, to as far away as St. Gallen, Switzerland and Fortuna, Costa Rica. As a producer, Coach Roebuck has done a range of remixes for Anything But Monday of Universal Music, for Captyn Zodiak of the Captyn Zodiak TV show, and a host of other Indie labels. His own music has been released on Nocturnal Recordings, Bid Muzik, Digital Vinyl Recordings, and several others. The game is only beginning. The future looks very promising for the Coach. If the Coach has his way, he may end up being the Head Coach of the disco house music of today.”
Here is his exclusive mix, a beautiful mixture of hard disco with some old school sounds thrown in at the end.
