Pick Of The Week: Minson- She Was Made In Heaven

 

 

Minson is a producer from South Korea who makes some great deep progressive house music.  Previously this year he released “Jeju Island” and has followed it up this time with “She Was Made in Heaven.”  Perfect music for having a drink and chilling out to as the Sun goes down.  Look for more from this producer and the Korean label Mascota Recordings.

Lange- We Are Lucky People

Heard this track being played on the Above and Beyond podcast and it just came out today on Beatport.  Beautiful and uplifting trance that will put a smile on your face.  I was listening to it on the way to work and one of those little things happened that normally annoys me, but today I just let it go, thinking, I guess I am a pretty lucky guy.

Trance and Electronica legends Chicane and Ferry Corsten team up to create what I will only call beautiful music. Chicane has always been one of my all-time favorites, and this collaborative effort is top notch, featuring beautiful sounds and synthesizers meshed so well with vocals.  Its the kind of track that will put a smile on your face even at the end of a a long and difficult day, which is exactly what it did to me. Also featuring top-notch remixes from Danny Howard, Soundprank, and Disco Citizens.

Ad Brown from London combines with Shingo Nakamura of Japan to deliver beautiful trance track. Not the hard style, but that gorgeous sound you expect to hear on the beach as the sun sets. Amazing

Arty and Mat Zo- Rebound

Big new trance track from two of the biggest trance producers out today, Arty from Russia and Mat Zo from London. Arty was the producer behind one of my favorite progressive hits of 2011, “Kate,” and hit the DJ mag top 30 this year. As a pair they have already combined for one of my favorite recent trance tracks, Mozart, and this newest one has that epic stadium/festival/on the beach at sunrise/sunset feel.  Released on one of the biggest trance/progressive labels going, Anjuna Beats. Big Ups!

Temple One feat. Neeve Kennedy- Love the Fear (Tom Fall Remix)

 

Love this track because it can fit into so many sets.  It features beautiful vocals followed by a hard electro sound. Electro, Trance, and Progressive sets can all use this beautiful remix by Tom Fall out of Finland, especially because at 128 bpm it can fit in with so many genres. 5 star track.
