Pick Of The Week: Jon Gurd- Su Sa EP

Likin this new EP by British Techno producer Jon Gurd.  A bit on the dark side, but it features excellent rises and beat patterns with big reverbing kicks that will destroy on big speakers in the right club.    I usually only choose one track a week, but this time I featured 2 of the tracks on the EP.   I love that epic rise in SuSa, with the sound growing on you till the kick comes in, but very subtely.   Smoke Deve features some cool instrumentation and almost has a dark funky feel to it.  There is also a 3rd track on the EP, a remix of SuSa by Tony Rohr.  Enjoy

Pick Of The Week: Rydel- Doing My thing

 

Rydel from Slovenia drops an energetic techno track here on PHNTM’s label Neptuun City.  As is typical of the label, it features a nice groovy and funky bassline sped up and made into a more techno sound.  At 130bpm will work well in the club. Enjoy your weekend

Pick Of The Week: Nino Bua- Once Again

 

Nino Bua from USA has a penchant for making funky and cool tech house numbers featuring catchy vocal samples with nice rhythms and drum patterns.  He’s back at it here with “Once Again.”  In this track I especially love the vocal sample he used in conjunction with a nice beat.  Pick it up for your weekend mix, especially at the pool and other groove oriented dance venues 🙂

Pick Of The Week: WD2N- Get Up On Your Feet

 

 

WD2N, a duo from Slovenia and Brazil, comes at us this week with a funky deep track called “Get Up On Your Feet.”  It features a funky bass line with a some nice vocal samples that keep it fun and bouncy.  Sex Panda delivers again with another deep but fun track, similar to Kolumbo’s “Stop, Ou Encore,” also out on the label.  Play this one out at your underground joints and small rooms this weekend and watch the people move!
