Exclusive Mix- DJ Jon Lockley
DJ Jon Lockley has given the second exclusive mix for ILHouze.com. A native of Georgia, Jon currently resides in Daegu, South Korea. Here is the biography from his site:
There are plenty of DJs in the industry who isolate themselves to one style whereas Jon Lockley has the ability to deliver sets from various genres. His original style and finesse behind the decks has been revolutionizing the elements of electronic music for over a decade. In his sets, Lockley flawlessly merges the sounds of bass heavy break beats with progressive melodic house so easily and so fluidly that his peers are left in awe. His unique style and immaculate technique places him in a category alongside the industry’s elite. Not only does he captivate crowds with his powerful sets, but he also lays down his own original production work to separate himself from the rest of the pack. His sets and his tracks achieve their goal — to make people dance. His passion for music certainly seems to be the key to his longevity. Having played at venues across the globe, his name has become synonymous with electronic music.
Jon has headlined with heavyweight electronic artists such as Steve Porter, Johnny Fiasco, DJ Icey, Phil K, Myagi, Magic Mike, Kimball Collins, and Michael Myers just to name a few. Not only does he captivate crowds with his powerful sets, he also lays down his own original productions which have found their way into the Top 100 at Beatport.com and Trackitdown.net.
Lockley has been on a production tear recently, releasing tracks and remixes on Visiomind and Kushtee record labels in the past three months and working with other SK based producers like Daniel Lyons and B. Jinx. He is a versatile DJ who can tech, house, and electro. Here is his exclusive Mix for ILhouze.com
Dragonette- Let It Go (Laidback Luke Remix)
My favorite Dutchman (which is saying a bit considering the talent coming out of that country) drops a sweet electro remix to Dragonette’s Let it go. Its got this kind of uplifting electro feel to it, which isn’t something you always hear from electro house. Big Ups!
